2PM's Jun. K "No solo part in debut song"...Nichkhun and Wooyoung confess weight changes

2PM members appeared on SBS variety show ″No, But Really!″ and talked about episodes from their debut days and recent weight changes.
Jun. K revealed that despite being the main vocalist, he had no individual part in their debut song ″10 Out of 10.″ He said that during music shows, his part in the lyrics was only written as ″Yay″ in parentheses, and he appeared only halfway on the screen. He also explained that he was originally supposed to be a member of 2AM but suddenly became the main vocalist of 2PM. The part distribution method was ″try singing once,″ and since he was last, all the parts were already taken by others. Producer Park Jin-young assigned him the ad-lib part, so that ended up being his only part. Although he trained as a trainee for four years, he was bewildered to be assigned only ″Yay.″
The broadcast also included discussions about the members’ weight changes. Jang Woo-young said that he usually weighed around 67–68 kg during activities but has now dropped to 62 kg. He mentioned that he lost so much weight that even the costume team was worried. The cast members joked about Jang Woo-young’s change in appearance.
Nichkhun explained that the reason he recently gained weight was because he had few schedules at the beginning of the year, went back to his family home, and ate a lot, which caused his weight to increase. After the concert in Japan, he was shocked and ate only three eggs a day for three days.
Jun. K said he has been managing himself by eating only one meal a day for the past three years. He shared that he reconsidered the support from fans and thought deeply about what he should maintain as an idol.
The 2PM members honestly shared their experiences with weight management, showing their efforts for long-term activities. Meanwhile, SBS’s ″No, But Really!″ airs every Monday at 10:10 PM.
