The couple Park Mi-sun and Lee Bong-won recalled difficult times while traveling together in Gangneung on MBN’s ″Precious Family of Others’ House.″

The two went on a trip alone for the first time in over 20 years, and Lee Bong-won revealed that he personally prepared the travel course for his wife Park Mi-sun. The first place they visited was a brunch café that Park Mi-sun had highly praised on a previous trip. This time, Lee Bong-won enjoyed brunch with his wife and said, ″It’s okay to eat like this once or twice a year.″

Next, the couple visited a customized art studio for Park Mi-sun and spent time drawing each other’s portraits. Park Mi-sun revealed that she used to paint folk paintings when she was sick and said she liked drawing because it helped clear her mind. While drawing his wife’s portrait, Lee Bong-won said, ″I didn’t want to just draw her as she is. I didn’t want to paint white in her hair. She doesn’t dye it now, so she doesn’t look like she’s in her 40s, but I made her look like she’s in her 40s. That alone makes her look much younger.″ Park Mi-sun emphasized her husband’s beautiful eyes in her drawing, and Shin Ji and Jeon Min-gi praised her for drawing the eyes well.

The couple visited the beach and dipped their feet in the seawater while reflecting on the past. Park Mi-sun said, ″We came here in winter back then. It was a time when I had a lot on my mind, but after finishing treatment and coming to the Gangneung sea, I felt really relieved and thought that I endured well.″

Park Mi-sun revealed that she started chemotherapy one month after surgery and said that watching the fireworks prepared by her family made her realize why she needed to regain her health. ″I cried a lot in my room then. It wasn’t because I was upset, but because I realized that the reason I need to get healthy is for those three people. I gathered my strength and went through chemotherapy. I was determined, so it wasn’t hard at all. I think having family is essential.″ She added, ″It felt good to come back to Gangneung. It was nice to come just the two of us without the kids. Once the kids get married, it’s just the couple left.″ Lee Bong-won also shed tears together with her.
