The SBS variety show ″Mountain Village Bachelor Hero″ has decided to extend by one episode due to viewers’ support, making it a total of seven episodes.

″Mountain Village Bachelor Hero″ is a variety show depicting the daily lives of Lim Young Woong and his friends at a mountain village house. Originally planned as a six-episode series, one additional episode was added due to high viewer interest. The production team stated that the extension was decided thanks to the enthusiastic support of viewers and that the remaining episodes will densely capture various stories unfolding in the mountain village.

Since its first broadcast, the program has ranked first in the Tuesday variety show category for three consecutive weeks in the 2049 viewership ratings, with a peak minute rating of 6.5% (according to Nielsen Korea). It also showed strong performance on OTT platforms, entering Netflix Korea’s Top 10 immediately after the first broadcast and reaching as high as 4th place. Lim Young Woong ranked second in the Fundex non-drama cast popularity.

The cast includes Lim Young Woong, Heo Kyung-hwan, Hyun Bong-sik, and Jo Jjae-je. In previous episodes, Kwak Beom, Nucksal, and Roy Kim visited the mountain village house, showcasing the Marine Corps senior-junior chemistry between Kwak Beom and Roy Kim. In the next episode, the mountain village life of Kwak Beom, Nucksal, and Roy Kim will continue, followed by appearances from Cha Seung-won and actor Kim Do-hoon, who have connections through the ″Three Meals a Day″ series.

″Mountain Village Bachelor Hero″ airs every Tuesday at 9 PM.
