BTS member V has surpassed 75 million followers on Instagram.

V’s personal Instagram account recently exceeded 75 million followers, marking the first time for a male K-pop solo artist and also the first among male celebrities worldwide. V showed rapid growth after opening his personal Instagram account in December 2021. He reached 1 million followers in 43 minutes and 10 million followers in 4 hours and 52 minutes, setting a Guinness World Record that still stands.

Through Instagram, V shares various content including performances, music activities, daily life, fashion, and travel. One of his representative posts is a photo of his pet dog ″Yeontan,″ posted in December 2021, which has received over 20.83 million likes. Each post receives millions of likes and numerous comments, placing him among the top global influencers.

Among BTS members, the follower count follows V, then Jimin, J-Hope, Jin, Suga, and RM. Jungkook deleted his account in 2023 and currently does not operate a personal Instagram.

Meanwhile, the individuals with the most followers worldwide on Instagram include Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Selena Gomez, Kylie Jenner, and Dwayne Johnson. They each have hundreds of millions of followers.
