Girls’ Generation’s Yuri appeared on MBC’s entertainment program ″I Live Alone″ and revealed her daily life living alone in Jeju Island for three years. Yuri showed signs of nervousness, saying it was the first time among Girls’ Generation members to share her daily life.

Yuri stated that she lives alone in a detached house located on the east side of Jeju Island. The interior of the house was cozy and neat, featuring a bedroom with purple curtains and a living room with orange blinds. Yuri mentioned that most of her household items in Jeju, including the house, were acquired through secondhand transactions.

Yuri revealed that her morning routine includes emptying the dehumidifier water, explaining that because the house is near the beach, humidity is high, and she empties the dehumidifier about three times a day during summer. She also said she has been eating a health food mix of frozen yam, apple, milk, and honey for 20 years. This routine was started by her mother during her elementary school days, and she added that it is the food that has built her stamina.

Yuri said she likes yoga and nature, and after living a busy life in the city, she settled in Jeju to pursue a slow life. She also shared that her dream is to become a haenyeo (female diver). When Kian84 guessed the age of her house to be around 9 million won, Yuri responded, ″That’s close. It’s actually much less than that.″

The broadcast also showed Yuri riding a motorcycle to the Jeju coast, where she collected seafood in a net in permitted areas. Yuri admired the fresh seafood, exclaiming, ″They’re solid, really solid!″ She also demonstrated her cooking skills by preparing a pot rice meal full of ocean flavors using the seafood she gathered herself.

Meanwhile, there have been recent changes among Girls’ Generation members regarding marriage and breakups. Tiffany legally became a married woman after registering her marriage with actor Byun Yo-han in February, and Sooyoung announced her breakup with actor Jung Kyung-ho in June.
