Real estate investments and asset sizes of K-pop stars are drawing attention.

An Yujin, a member of the group IVE, is reported to have won the lottery for the general sale of The H Bangbae, scheduled for move-in this September. Regarding this, her agency stated it is a ″personal matter″ and avoided specific comments. An Yujin’s winning status and detailed information have not been confirmed. The H Bangbae began sales in August 2024, with prices set at 2.243 billion KRW for 84m2, 2.5 billion KRW for 101m2, and 2.762 billion KRW for 114m2 units. The current asking price for the 84m2 unit is reportedly around 4 billion KRW.

Jang Wonyoung, from the same group, is known to have purchased a luxury villa in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, last year for approximately 13.7 billion KRW. This transaction is estimated to have been an all-cash deal without any mortgage rights established.

Jennie of BLACKPINK also reportedly bought a building in Dongbinggo-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, last year for about 20 billion KRW. It is also known that there were no separate mortgage rights on the registration certificate, suggesting a full cash purchase.

Singer and actor Cha Eun-woo is known to have purchased a luxury apartment in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, worth around 13 billion KRW in his late twenties without a loan.

Members of BTS are also attracting attention for their asset management. Jin reportedly purchased a penthouse in Hannam The Hill for about 17.5 billion KRW, and V bought a luxury apartment in Cheongdam-dong for approximately 14.2 billion KRW. RM and Jimin each acquired units in Nine One Hannam, Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, for about 6.4 billion KRW and 5.9 billion KRW respectively. All of these purchases are known to have been made without mortgages, indicating loan-free acquisitions.
