On the 15th, her agency ReH Entertainment posted on their official SNS a step film of the fourth mini album ’OriginaLyn,’ scheduled for release at 6 p.m. on the 22nd, with the phrase ″Finally, the real ’ChecK’.″ The video features a snippet of the title track ″ChecK,″ showing Hyolyn powerfully walking in open heels. It also alternates between scenes of her throwing off her jacket and cheerful off-stage moments, revealing a charming contrast.

In a previous interview, Hyolyn stated, ″Open heels were the most difficult for me, but also the thing I could never give up.″ This step film, centered on open heels, hints that open heels will be an important performance element on stage.

’OriginaLyn’ is a title combining ’Original’ and Hyolyn’s name ’Lyn,’ representing an album that contains Hyolyn’s unique music and identity. It includes a total of seven tracks: the title track ″ChecK,″ ″OFFLINE,″ ″SHOTTY,″ ″Enjoy your meal,″ ″What U Like,″ ″YOU AND I,″ and ″Standing On The Edge.″ Hyolyn personally participated in writing and composing many of the songs and produced all tracks.
