Young K of the band DAY6 is set to release his second full-length solo album, ″YOUNGEST,″ and has unveiled various concept photos and promotional content.

JYP Entertainment released concept teaser images for ″YOUNGEST,″ scheduled for release on July 27, through DAY6’s official SNS channels on July 15 and 16. In the photos, Young K showcases two contrasting concepts: a cozy atmosphere and intense lighting, hinting at the album’s diverse musical colors. On the afternoon of the 17th, an additional teaser image titled ″Key of the YOUNGEST″ was revealed. This teaser features a sparkling keyhole that suggests the album’s story, and various promotional contents will be sequentially released from the 17th to the 22nd.

Young K participated in the production of all 15 tracks on the album, including the title track ″Shut The Door,″ as well as ″Marionette,″ ″F world,″ ″Hey Honey,″ ″Cheering Song,″ ″SPIKE,″ ″Yonge St.,″ ″million reasons,″ ″100 Reasons Why We Will Break Up (with JINJOO of DNCE),″ ″Drivin’ into Hell,″ ″whatever,″ ″Goodbye, Love,″ ″Heading Home,″ ″Baby’s Breath,″ and ″Coffee in the Studio.″ This album marks his solo comeback approximately two years and ten months after his first full-length album, ″Letters with notes,″ released in September 2023.

Additionally, on July 17, along with the ″Key of the YOUNGEST″ teaser, a childhood photo of Young K taken on November 28, 1996, was released. The teaser included the phrase: ″Key. 1 - Wonder. Every day, a new key. Every key, a new chapter. Unlock YOUNGEST with us.″ Young K operates the official Instagram account ″from_youngk,″ and with this teaser release, a new Instagram account named ″to_youngest″ was also launched.

The second full-length album ″YOUNGEST″ and the title track ″Shut The Door″ will be released on Monday, July 27, at 6 PM through various music platforms. Following this, from August 14 to 16, the solo concert ″Young K Solo Tour < YOUNGEST > in INCHEON,″ part of his solo tour, will be held at the Inspire Arena in Incheon.
