The video features different colors naturally spreading to reveal the team name and logo. The team’s official Instagram account will be operated privately starting from the 21st for the time being.
The team name TUIDE is derived from ″Tune the tide,″ meaning ″to adjust the flow.″ HYBE stated that it embodies the ambition to experience and harmonize various flows of the world to create new enjoyment. The members are Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Sea, and Hani, totaling seven. They plan to freely express their individual personalities while blending flexibly to deliver harmonious voices.
The overall production of TUIDE is led by Han Seong-su, Master Professional (MP), who formerly served as the CEO of Pledis Entertainment. Han Seong-su has a track record of producing various K-pop artists such as Seventeen, After School, IZ*ONE, and TWS.
