[THE FACT | Reporter Choi Soo-jung] BTS has proven its unwavering global popularity by ranking No. 1 on FANNSTAR’s Group Ranking for 68 consecutive weeks.

BTS claimed the top spot with 1,094,021 votes in FANNSTAR’s third-week-of-July Group Ranking vote, which ran from July 13 to 20. AHOF ranked second, followed by JANNABI in third place. Amid strong competition among artists with diverse genres and styles, BTS firmly secured the No. 1 position with more than 1 million votes.

Attention is now focused on whether BTS will reach 70 consecutive weeks at No. 1. The group has already secured benefits for achieving 10, 30 and 50 consecutive weeks at the top, with congratulatory advertisements displayed at major locations across Seoul.

If BTS reaches 70 consecutive weeks at No. 1, a digital billboard advertisement will be provided at the Kyunggi Building in Euljiro, Seoul. If the group sets a record of 100 consecutive weeks at No. 1, a large-scale global project is scheduled to be carried out through the 9TO9 CUBE at COEX Mall.

BTS is showing strength not only on FANNSTAR’s Group Ranking, but also in votes related to the 2026 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS (TMA). The group has been nominated in the FANNSTAR categories presented at TMA, including the TMA Best Music Summer vote and the Choice Award Group category.

Currently, BTS ranks No. 1 in both votes, once again demonstrating the powerful support of its fandom. As each vote will continue until 12 p.m. on August 3, fans’ interest in the final results is expected to grow even stronger.

The 2026 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS is scheduled to be held on September 19 at Busan Asiad Main Stadium. Attention is focused on whether BTS will achieve meaningful results in TMA-related votes, following its long-running No. 1 record on the Group Ranking.
