In the second episode of ″Time Tracker Seollok,″ aired on the 21st, it was revealed that U.S. President Ronald Reagan, German dictator Adolf Hitler, and Joseon’s Empress Myeongseong shared the commonality of ″shamanism.″ Actor Jung Young-joo, historian Gye Seung-beom, and psychologist Cho Young-eun appeared to discuss the theme of ″politics, shamanism, and behind-the-scenes power.″

The broadcast introduced a case of astrology-based politics at the White House. It was mentioned that astrologer Joan Quigley, after the assassination attempt on President Reagan, delved into the First Lady’s psychology and was appointed as a secret advisor to the White House, advising on state affairs through astrological predictions. The president’s schedule was managed with a ″fortune calendar″ divided into three colors according to the horoscope, and there were indications that astrology influenced the end of the Cold War. Jung Young-joo said, ″Did world history really change because of that one piece of paper?″

The story then continued with Hitler’s hidden architect, Erik Jan Hanussen. Hanussen was an astrologer who predicted to Hitler, ″You will become the Führer of Germany,″ and was revealed to be a public opinion architect who made Hitler appear as ″Germany’s savior″ to the masses. Hanussen also taught Hitler public speaking skills for mass agitation. Bong Tae-gyu commented, ″He seems worse than Hitler.″

Sun Kim introduced the ″12,000 Peaks of Geumgang Mountain Rice Incident,″ explaining that Jin Ryeong-gun proposed holding rituals at each of the 12,000 peaks of Geumgang Mountain for the recovery of the crown prince who had smallpox, which mobilized a large amount of rice nationwide.

Jang Hang-jun said, ″I didn’t know such things happened,″ and ″While the people starved to death, the country was ruined by a single word from a shaman. It’s so frustrating.″ The broadcast also mentioned that no records remain of Jin Ryeong-gun’s fate after Empress Myeongseong was assassinated.
