Recently, she marked her 16th debut anniversary by announcing a remake of her debut song ″I’ll Get Lost, Live Well″ and expressed, ″Wow.. It’s already been 16 years since my debut. Thank you for still remembering me and staying by my side.″

She also mentioned the period when she was expelled from the entertainment industry after receiving a fine for prostitution mediation charges 10 years ago, sharing her difficult feelings at the time in a lengthy SNS post. She recalled, ″People say, ’You handled it really well.’ No, I didn’t. I was going crazy, lost my vitality inside, suffered in silence, and couldn’t ask for help. I was shattered alone.″ She added, ″I just endured it. Not because I was strong every day, but simply because I had no other choice.″

Gina posted a video about one minute long, saying, ″Hello, meet again. Chapter 2. Finding my voice,″ and stated, ″Over the past few years, I watched people from afar create stories about me. Those writings never captured my true self. And for a long time, I chose silence. Not because those words were true, but because I was not ready yet.″ She also said, ″This shoot was not just a simple photo shoot. It felt like the beginning of something I have dreamed of for a very, very long time,″ showing her determination for future activities.

Meanwhile, after receiving a fine in 2016 for violating laws related to prostitution mediation, Gina stopped her activities in South Korea and left for Canada. In 2017, she celebrated her 10th debut anniversary at Lindeman Lake in Vancouver, Canada, sharing a message, ″We will meet again soon. I am preparing for a new beginning.″ Since then, her activities in the domestic entertainment industry have been virtually halted.
