Monsta X(MONSTA X) unit Shownu X Hyungwon was named on Billboard’s list of ’The 25 Best K-Pop Albums of 2026 (So Far), Staff Picks’ with their second mini album ’LOVE ME.’

Billboard selected Shownu X Hyungwon’s album on its official website, mentioning their musical capabilities, the unique color of the unit, and the delicate portrayal of the various nuances of the emotion of love. It was reported that their musical world, completed with sophisticated sound and deepened expression, continued to attract Billboard’s attention even after their activities ended.

Additionally, Billboard evaluated that Shownu X Hyungwon showed a different delicacy, calmness, and balance between the two, distinct from Monsta X’s powerful performances. Regarding the title track ’Do You Love Me,’ they stated that the repetitive chorus impressively depicted the process of seeking answers about love. Tracks such as ’Superstitious’ and ’Accelerator’ also expanded the album’s spectrum with their different genre charms.
