Bolbbalgan4 will officially release a remake single of Indigo’s ″Summer, Please″ on the 22nd at 6 PM through various online music platforms.

This single is a reinterpretation of the original song released by Indigo in 2002, infused with Bolbbalgan4’s unique sensibility. While maintaining the excitement of the original, some lyrics have been newly refined, changing ″After meeting the girl in a bikini″ to ″After meeting the guy in a shirt″ and ″I will even quit smoking″ to ″I will even quit watching dramas,″ adding a distinct musical color.

Six years ago, a version of the song with Bolbbalgan4 singing only the first verse was featured in a commercial, garnering over 1 million views on YouTube and attracting attention. Since then, fans have continuously requested an official release every summer, and this project is meant to respond to their long-awaited anticipation.

Singer-songwriter Jeokjae participated in the arrangement, harmoniously blending rhythmic acoustic sounds with Bolbbalgan4’s refreshing vocals. Their agency, Kenbus, stated, ″The message Bolbbalgan4 wanted to convey with this single is to take you back to the most vibrant season you have ever experienced, hoping this summer will shine once again.″
