BTS connects with 717,000 people over 10 European tour shows... joins as halftime headliner for the 'World Cup Final'

BTS leader RM recently spoke about his changes as a team leader in an interview video with British fashion designer Bella Freud.
RM described the role of a leader by saying, ″For example, everyone is lying on the sofa. But the window is open, and it’s very cold. Then someone has to close the window. But since lying on the sofa is really comfortable, no one wants to do it. It’s a really annoying task.″ He explained, ″At that moment, one person gets up and gets off the sofa. That is what a leader does. Taking a few steps to close the window. I think that’s what a leader does for the team. That’s all.″
He revealed that although he showed a self-centered leadership style for about nine years since debut, he changed his leadership style and communication methods according to the changes and growth of the group and its members.
Meanwhile, BTS held solo concerts at Stade de France in Paris on July 17 and 18, concluding the European leg of their world tour ’ARIRANG.’ Prior to that, they performed a total of 10 shows in five cities—Madrid, Spain; Brussels, Belgium; London, UK; Munich, Germany; and Paris, France—meeting with 717,000 fans.
On July 19, they participated in the halftime show of the ’2026 FIFA North and Central America World CupTM’ final held at the New York New Jersey Stadium in the United States. On this stage, BTS appeared as a co-headliner alongside Madonna, Shakira, Justin Bieber, and others.
