IVE member Ahn Yujin won the OST Popularity Award at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards for the drama ’Becoming the Legend of the Cook Soldier’ OST ’Sad Salty Taste.’

At the Blue Dragon Series Awards held on the 31st of last month, Ahn Yujin received the OST Popularity Award for ’Sad Salty Taste.’ Through her agency Starship Entertainment, she expressed, ″I am so happy and proud to receive such a meaningful award for an OST. Especially, it was exciting and an honor to be part of a great work like ’Becoming the Legend of the Cook Soldier,’ and I feel even more rewarded because many people, including viewers, seemed to like it.″ She continued, ″Above all, I think this award is possible thanks to our Dive (official fan club name), who always support and expect great things from me. I will continue to challenge myself and work hard to repay you with good songs, so please look forward to it.″

In ’Sad Salty Taste,’ Ahn Yujin conveyed a message of rising again despite difficult realities with refreshing yet powerful vocals. The song, which blends synthesizer and rock sounds, was praised for enhancing the immersion of the drama with her clear and refreshing tone and solid vocals.

Meanwhile, IVE is continuing their second world tour ’SHOW WHAT I AM’ in North America and will hold the ’SHOW WHAT I AM’ LA concert at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, USA, on August 1.
