Monsta X has begun the comeback countdown by releasing individual trailers of members Shownu and Jooheon ahead of the release of their new album, The Phase.

Starship Entertainment sequentially unveiled the individual trailer videos for Monsta X’s new album The Phase, scheduled for release on September 4, through their official SNS on the 11th and 12th. Jooheon’s trailer features a scene where he suddenly does a somersault while dining at a long table, then nonchalantly continues eating. This video creates a unique impression with its seemingly infinite loop effect.

Shownu’s trailer includes a striking scene where he searches inside a bag, inflates a balloon to human size, and bursts it. This direction heightened curiosity about the album’s concept.

Jooheon released his second solo mini-album, Kwang, last January, gaining attention from Forbes US and entering the overseas iTunes K-pop charts. Shownu was named in Billboard staff’s ″Top 25 K-pop Albums of 2026″ with the ShownuXHyungwon mini-album Love Me released last May.

Monsta X’s new album The Phase is a work that embodies refined sophistication and wit based on the team’s unique identity, drawing attention to the synergy reunited after Shownu and Jooheon’s solo activities.

Meanwhile, Monsta X plans to sequentially release individual trailers of other members starting with Shownu and Jooheon, and The Phase will be officially released on September 4.
