The Juspeace Foundation, chaired by Honorary Chairman G-Dragon, and its agency Galaxy Corporation have donated 500 million won to support young artists.

On the 14th, Galaxy Corporation announced that it had donated 500 million won to the Juspeace Foundation, established by G-Dragon. This donation will be used to support 50 young artists who were finally selected through the emerging artist discovery project that the Juspeace Foundation has been conducting since December last year. The selected artists’ works will be permanently exhibited at Galaxy Robot Park in Seoul.

The Juspeace Foundation and Galaxy Corporation will hold the ’JUSPEACE DAY 50’ event at Galaxy Robot Park in Seoul on August 18, G-Dragon’s birthday. This event will feature various programs including exhibitions of young artists’ works, a charity auction, and a ’Wall of Hope’ where visitors can leave messages of encouragement for the artists. The proceeds from the charity auction will be used again for public interest activities supporting future generation artists.

This project was initiated based on G-Dragon’s ongoing desire to ″create more opportunities for artists and support future generations.″ Galaxy Corporation demonstrated a partnership model that expands the social value of artists into corporate social responsibility activities through donations and providing exhibition space. The company stated that it plans to create a sustainable social contribution model with the Juspeace Foundation, following the sequence of ″discovering artists → supporting works → permanent exhibition → connecting with the public → creating new opportunities.″

Oh Hee-young, CEO of the Juspeace Foundation, said, ″One of the most necessary supports for young artists is creating opportunities for their works to meet the world.″

Meanwhile, G-Dragon will celebrate his 38th birthday on the 18th, and his group Big Bang will mark their 20th anniversary this year. To commemorate their debut anniversary on the 19th, Big Bang will release a new song titled ’Big’ and will start their 20th anniversary world tour ’BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR ’XX : COSMOS’’ at Goyang Sports Complex in Gyeonggi from the 21st to the 23rd.
