Cortis 1st Anniversary Debut Concert to be Held on the 22nd and 23rd at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium

CORTIS prepared a special meeting with fans to celebrate their 1st anniversary since debut. From the 22nd to the 23rd, the ’2026 CORTIS TOUR ’PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN’ BIRTHDAY PARTY’ will be held at Hwa-jeong Gymnasium, Korea University in Seoul.

This performance was arranged to mark their 1st anniversary, and the members conveyed through their agency Big Hit Music, ″Since it is our 1st anniversary birthday party, we want to create a joyful time for CORE (the fandom name).″ They added, ″We will do our best with 300% passion on stage,″ and expressed their determination, saying, ″We hope everyone will run and play without regrets. After everything is over, we will strive to make a performance that makes you think, ’Ah, I want to go back to that moment.’″

Hwa-jeong Gymnasium at Korea University was the venue where the ’RELEASE PARTY’ commemorating their debut album release was held last September, marking CORTIS’s first meeting with fans. The 1st anniversary performance is also taking place at the same location, adding more significance. For global fans who cannot attend in person, online live streaming will be provided through Weverse.

The performance sold out all seats during the membership pre-sale phase. Before the Seoul concert, CORTIS interacted with global fans through tours in Incheon and North America. The ’PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN’ tour consists of 9 cities and 14 performances in total, with fan interactions and group singing continuing at each show.

To increase audience participation, a dedicated application called ’PYPD’ is also being operated. After checking in on-site, the app detects and quantifies movements, allowing the audience to check their level of activity during the performance and compare the atmosphere by city records.

On the music charts, the title track ’REDRED’ from the mini 2nd album has held the number one spot on Spotify’s ’Weekly Top Songs Korea’ chart for 17 consecutive weeks. This is the longest number one record among K-pop group songs on that chart. During the same period, it ranked 194th on the ’Weekly Top Songs Global’ chart, maintaining its presence on the chart for 17 consecutive weeks.
