The group NEXZ (Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, So Gun, Seita, Huey, Yuki) achieved high rankings on domestic and international music charts after releasing their 4th mini-album ’SAUCIN’’.

NEXZ released their 4th mini-album ’SAUCIN’’ on August 24. The album includes a total of six tracks: the title track ’SAUCIN’’, ’LOCO’, ’APPETITE’, ’UPGRADE’, ’20 NOW’, and ’ALIENS’. The new album title ’SAUCIN’’ combines the English word ’SAUCE’ with the progressive suffix ’-ING’, emphasizing NEXZ’s unique charm.

The title track ’SAUCIN’’ features lyrics comparing themselves to a sauce that makes any food special. The music video depicts a scene where, after a mission to share the legendary all-purpose sauce with everyone, it is sprayed at a festival site.

The song also showed remarkable chart performance. The title track entered Bugs’ real-time chart at number 6 at 7 PM on the 24th and rose to number 1 by 11 PM the same day. At midnight on the 25th, all the album tracks ranked from 1st to 6th on the Bugs chart. It also ranked first on the Circle Chart’s daily retail album chart for August 24. Internationally, it topped the iTunes Top Albums charts in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Malaysia, and ranked 21st on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart on the 24th.

On the afternoon of the 24th, NEXZ held a ’SAUCIN’’ viewing party to celebrate their comeback with fans. The event featured talk and game segments, a performance of the title track ’SAUCIN’’, and stages of ’APPETITE’, which Tomoya, Haru, and Huey participated in writing and composing, as well as ’20 NOW’, credited to Tomoya for lyrics and composition.

On the morning of the 26th, their agency JYP Entertainment released behind-the-scenes photos from the music video. The pictures showed the seven members performing or posing for the camera, shooting in front of a yellow truck, and eating pizza.
