Seventeen The8 releases 128-page photo book 'DICON'... Capturing nature and boyish charm

The8 of Seventeen showcased a new image different from the one seen on stage through the 36th issue photo spread of the magazine DICON.
Titled ″THE 8TH SENSE,″ this photo spread captures various sides of The8 that had not been revealed to fans before, including his expressions, movements, and emotions, across 128 pages. DICON stated that they highlighted The8 from a new perspective, different from the familiar image fans have seen so far.
In the Type A photo spread, the focus was on The8’s natural atmosphere in a quiet home setting with minimal sets, lighting, and exaggerated poses. Everyday moments were captured, such as a loosened shirt, messy hair, leaning casually on a chair, or sitting on the floor deep in thought. Subtle changes in his expressions were also captured as light and shadow intersected.
The Type B photo spread showed an innocent side of The8 against the backdrop of blue skies and green nature, featuring scenes like riding a bicycle or watching insects climb trees. His eyes sparkling under the sunlight and boyish smile stood out prominently. The styling was free and unrestrained, with shirts draped or thrown over shoulders rather than worn in a fixed way.
The interview released alongside the photo spread covered The8’s current tastes, as well as the emotions and concerns he has experienced as an artist. Depending on the photo spread version, various extras such as photocards, mini postcards, film camera photocards, wall calendars, and acrylic swing photo stands are also provided.
The DICON The8 edition will begin pre-orders from 2 PM on the 25th. The8, born in 1997 in China, debuted as a member of Seventeen in May 2015.
