MBN·Channel S’s ’Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 4’ previewed that Lee Chan-won will fill in as a special MC for Kwak Tube’s absence in the August 28th broadcast. On that day’s show, trot singer Lee Chan-won and ’Unknown Legend’ TOP4 Hwang Yoon-sung join Jeon Hyun-moo to explore hidden gourmet spots in Daegu.

Lee Chan-won appeared upon Jeon Hyun-moo’s call and performed a duet of ’Jinttobaegi’ with him. Jeon Hyun-moo mentioned Kwak Tube’s schedule conflict and expressed regret, saying, ″That guy isn’t here today,″ then added, ″If there’s no ’Daegu son-in-law,’ then call the ’son of Daegu,’″ summoning Lee Chan-won.

During the broadcast, Jeon Hyun-moo asked Lee Chan-won, ″Have you ever been to the restaurants introduced on our program?″ Lee Chan-won mentioned a tteokbokki place in Daegu and said, ″After you went there, the waiting lines got so long that hundreds of locals formed a group and became anti-Jeon Hyun-moo.″

Later, Hwang Yoon-sung joined, and the three officially started their Daegu food trip. Jeon Hyun-moo introduced Hwang Yoon-sung as Lee Chan-won’s ″best friend and a keyring-like guy.″ Lee Chan-won confidently said, ″Daegu has the ’Daegu 10 flavors’ and Nureun noodles. The place we’re going to now is a legendary restaurant considered the origin of Nureun noodles. You won’t regret it.″ He also explained the origin of Nureun noodles and Daegu’s food culture.

The three visited a 76-year-old traditional restaurant in the Nureun noodles alley and tasted Daegu-style handmade noodles, boiled pork slices, and aged kimchi. Jeon Hyun-moo rated the boiled pork as ″the best among ’Jeon Hyun-moo Plan’ boiled pork,″ and Hwang Yoon-sung described the handmade noodles as ″like Pyongyang cold noodles in the knife-cut noodle world.″

In this broadcast, Lee Chan-won took on more than just a guest role, directly selecting and explaining the restaurants. Jeon Hyun-moo commented, ″You’re better at hosting than Kwak Tube,″ and Lee Chan-won said, ″I came aiming for this spot today.″ Hwang Yoon-sung also added, ″Is there maybe a third spot?″

Meanwhile, recently Jeon Hyun-moo faced allegations of fabrication regarding his impromptu trip to Kazakhstan shown on ’I Live Alone,’ and the production team denied Kazakhstan’s claims of filming support, stating, ″There was no filming support or sponsorship received.″
