YouTuber Park Wi’s classmates have authenticated graduation albums to deny the rumors of ’school violence’ and ’juvenile detention center background’ that surfaced online following the controversy over the release of CCTV footage.

On August 30, netizen A posted on an online community titled ″I am a classmate of Park Wi, and the juvenile detention story is 100% false,″ revealing photos of Park Wi from the graduation albums of Yonggang Middle School and Yongsan High School. A stated that they attended middle and high school with Park Wi and that the rumors related to juvenile detention or school violence are not true.

Another classmate, B, also authenticated the Yongsan High School graduation album on the 29th, saying that although they were not close friends with Park Wi, they exercised together and greeted each other. B explained that Park Wi liked sports during school days, had leadership qualities, and was a friend far from any school violence. B added that the school had strict disciplinary rules, making it difficult for school violence to occur.

On the same day, C also revealed that they were in the same class as Park Wi in the 2nd and 3rd years of high school, authenticating certificates, appointment letters, and the graduation album. C explained that they posted to correct the facts regarding the rumors about school violence and juvenile detention spreading online. C emphasized that they lived in the same class for two years but never saw or heard of such incidents and that the story about attending a juvenile detention center is not true. C also mentioned that Park Wi was a friendly person to everyone and was popular among teachers and friends.

While several classmates are posting to deny the rumors by authenticating graduation albums, as of the afternoon of the 30th, Park Wi’s YouTube channel ″Weeracle″ has about 958,000 subscribers, showing a decrease of more than 50,000 from the previous 1.01 million. Park Wi has not made any further statements since posting an apology on the 22nd.
