BTS Jungkook fans celebrate birthday with book and donation relay at home and abroad... from Busan Library to Nigeria and Mexico

In celebration of BTS Jungkook’s birthday, fans both domestically and internationally engaged in various charitable activities.
Jungkook’s domestic fan club, ’Jungkook Supporters,’ announced that they would donate 200 English children’s books to public libraries, children’s libraries, and elementary schools in 16 districts and counties of Busan, Jungkook’s hometown. The donated book is ’Featuring Jungkook: Facts, Quizzes, Activities, and More! (Brain Candy Books),’ intended to inspire and bring dreams to children.
Support for children and local communities continued overseas as well. ’Jungkook Nigeria’ delivered gifts to children at an orphanage in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and Indonesian fans shared gifts and food with students and street vendors. Indian ARMY collaborated with the NGO Sanskriti Samvardhan Mandal in Sagroli, India, to support young rural athletes.
There were also donations for disaster relief and medical and living support. ’Jungkook News’ donated to UNICEF to provide shelters, drinking water, and hygiene supplies for children and families affected by recent floods in Nepal, and ’Jungkook India’ also supported UNICEF for education, medical care, and clean water for children across India. Domestic fans donated funds to G Foundation for adolescent sanitary pad support, Seoul National University Children’s Hospital, and the National Disaster Relief Association for flood-affected residents.
Various contributions were made in the fields of animal and environmental protection. ’Jungkook India’ supported a no-kill stray dog shelter and dog rescue and rehabilitation centers near Bengaluru, India, while the ’JK Latin America Team’ donated to a shelter (Refugio Buenos Chicos A.C.) housing over 200 rescued puppies. ’Jungkook Thailand’ and ’Jungkook YouTube Streaming’ supported animal shelters in the Philippines, helping stray cats and dogs.
Additionally, ’Jungkook YouTube’ donated to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), and ’Jungkook Mexico’ donated to SelvaTeenek, a nonprofit organization responsible for wildlife rescue and ecological restoration in Mexico. ’Jungkook News’ supported VAKO, a foundation dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and adopting stray kittens on the northern coast of Peru, ’Jungkook Hungary’ supported Madarmento Allomas Malyi, a squirrel rescue organization in Hungary, and ’Jungkook Shazam’ supported the animal welfare organization Best Friends.
Indonesian fans also carried out a project to adopt symbiotic pufferfish and sea mantis shrimp, along with supporting healthy coral reef ecosystems, to conserve marine life.
