[THE FACT | Reporter Chae-young Moon] American actress Amanda Seyfried is separating from American actor Thomas Sadoski after 9 years of marriage.

Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski announced their divorce on the 15th (local time) through a joint statement, saying, "We have been separated for a while, and we have confirmed that this was the right decision for ourselves and our family."

The two added that their relationship, built on trust, will continue even after the divorce. Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski explained, "We will always be on each other's side. This is a very meaningful thing."

Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski first met in 2015 through the play 'The Way We Get By'. Overcoming a 10-year age gap, they developed a romantic relationship, got married in 2017, and have two children.

Amanda Seyfried debuted as a model in 1996 and received much love for her roles in films such as 'Mean Girls', 'Mamma Mia!', 'In Time', and 'Les Misérables'. Thomas Sadoski debuted in 1998 and has appeared in the film 'John Wick' and the series 'The Newsroom'.
