After enduring nearly 30 years of obscurity, Nam Ae, who gained recognition by winning Mnet's 'Trot X', is now embarking on a new journey beyond her singing career, becoming a 'promotional ambassador' to promote the charms of Taean nationwide.

Taean County will appoint Nam Ae as the second Taean County ambassador at the Taean Cultural Center Art Hall at 4:30 PM on the 19th. Following the appointment ceremony, a 'Special Concert by Singer Nam Ae' will be held from 5 PM, open to all county residents and tourists for free.

This appointment of an ambassador stems from the special connection between Nam Ae and Taean. Nam Ae, who forged a connection with Taean through the theme song 'Come to Taean,' which captures the emotions and beauty of Taean, has been promoting Taean's charm across the country through her songs.

"Come to Taean" is a song created with the motif of the legend of the Grandmother and Grandfather rocks at Kkotji Beach in Anmyeondo. It was born from the collaboration of lyricist Kim Dong-gwan, a native of Taean, and Kim In-hyo, a famous composer and the husband of Nami Ae. It is also significant as it is the first popular song with a Taean theme released in 52 years, following "Manlipo Love" in 1958 and "Yeonpo Lady" in 1972.

At the concert that day, various repertoires will be presented, including 'Come to Taean', Nami-ae's representative song 'My Man', and 'Even in a Dream', which highlights her sorrowful singing ability. It is a place to share the connection between Taean and Nami-ae, formed through music, with the county residents, going beyond a simple congratulatory performance.

Nam Ae's recent activity range is also expanding. After marrying composer Kim In-hyo last year, she announced a new start in the second half of her life, and in March this year, she held a solo concert 'Not You, But Us' in Seoul, connecting with her long-time fans. Her solid vocal ability, which crosses genre boundaries from traditional trot to ballad trot, semi-trot, and general pop songs, once again garnered attention on stage.
