[THE FACT | Reporter Moon Chae-young] Management agency Nexus E&M is in discussions for an exclusive contract with actress Ahn Hee-yeon.

Nexus E&M announced on the 1st to <THE FACT>, "We are positively discussing an exclusive contract with Ahn Hee-yeon," adding, "Nothing has been confirmed yet."

Ahn Hee-yeon debuted in 2012 under the stage name Hani in the group EXID. A fancam video of their 2014 song 'Up&Down' went viral on social media, leading to immense popularity through the so-called "reverse run." Since then, they have received much love for songs such as 'Ah Yeah,' 'HOT PINK,' 'L.I.E,' and 'Every Night.'

She began her acting career in earnest in 2020 and has appeared in works such as JTBC's drama 'IDOL: The Coup,' Coupang Play's original series 'Panda G-Spot,' and Disney+'s original series 'Call It Love.'

She is currently meeting viewers in the KBS2 weekend drama 'Love is Coming.' She plays Han Gyu-rim, a side dish shop employee with no time, money, or leisure, and is showcasing a heartfelt romance with actor Ha Seok-jin.

Additionally, Ahn Hee-yeon has been publicly dating psychiatrist and broadcaster Yang Jae-woong since 2022. The couple had planned to marry, but postponed it indefinitely in 2024 after a patient death occurred at the hospital run by Yang Jae-woong.

Nexus E&M, which is discussing an exclusive contract with Ahn Hee-yeon, is home to actresses Song Ji-hyo, Soo Ae, and Lee Sun-bin, as well as Park Jung-hwa, who was active as a member of EXID with her.
