[THE FACT|Reporter Lee Seong-rak] Song Min-ho, a member of the group WINNER, has apologized for violating military service laws.

On the 9th, Song Min-ho posted a handwritten letter on his social media service (SNS) Instagram, stating, "I bow my head and apologize for causing concern to many people because of me."

He said, "I should have clarified my position as soon as possible, but it was too late. I am sorry for making you wait for so long," and "Above all, I am so sorry for disappointing the young men who are faithfully fulfilling their military service obligations, as well as my fans who cherish me more than anyone else."

He added, "Regret has been long each day. I was ashamed and hated my past irresponsible choices," and "I will not avoid my foolish mistakes and will reflect on them. I will faithfully carry out the remaining procedures and obligations."

Finally, he said, "I will not forget this incident, engrave it in my heart, and live with a more responsible attitude," and "I sincerely apologize once again."

Song Min-ho is suspected of being absent without leave for 102 days while working as a social service worker. On the 1st, the Seoul Western District Court sentenced Song Min-ho, who was indicted on charges of violating military service laws, to one year in prison and a two-year suspended sentence.
