Jung Woo-sung resigned from his position as an inside director at Artist Company before completing his term. According to the Financial Supervisory Service’s electronic disclosure system, Jung Woo-sung stepped down from his inside director position on the 2nd, and his original term was until March 28, 2027.
Jung Woo-sung was appointed as an inside director of Artist Company along with Lee Jung-jae on March 29, 2024. He stepped down from the director position after about two years and six months, approximately six months before the end of his term. The specific reasons for this resignation have not been disclosed.
Despite his resignation, there has been no change in Jung Woo-sung’s company shares. He holds 1,714,108 shares of Artist Company, maintaining a 10.99% stake, unchanged from before. The disclosure of the termination of a special relationship is due to his resignation as an inside director and is not related to any stock disposal.
Jung Woo-sung and Lee Jung-jae co-founded Artist Company in 2016 and have maintained a partnership for about ten years. The two have been known as close friends and business partners in the entertainment industry since they first connected through the 1999 film ″No. 3.″ They also appeared together in the 2022 film ″Hunt.″
