The
first mini-album Savage of Metaverse girl group Aespa (under SM Entertainment)
received the spotlight from Forbes of the United States.
Forbes,
a leading US economic magazine, recently published an article on its official
website titled "Aespa wrote a sales record in the United States with its
first album Savage," paying attention to Aespa's activities.
Forbes
said, "Aespa debuted less than a year ago, but it has already achieved
success far beyond Korea. The four-member group's first album, which debuted on
the Billboard charts this week, is an important and huge victory even compared
to the records of all female singers in Korea."
Aespa
took second place on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart, which looks at the
100 best-selling titles in the United States. Savage, entered #20 on the
Billboard 200 chart becoming one of the fastest successful Korean girl group
albums in American history.
