Nu'est's first mini-album, "New Jeans" (Minji, Daniel, Hani, Hyerin, Hyein), includes four songs, including Attention, Hype Boy, Cookie, and Hurt. Among them, except for 'Hurt,' three songs have a unique structure like the title song.
The first title, "Attention," is a song that receives the thrill and suspense of falling in love with someone and honestly says, "Pay attention to yourself." Member Daniel participated in composing the lyrics. The emotional opening and chorus can feel the harmony among the five members, which is very impressive.
The second title track, "Hype Boy," is a song that combines the moombahton and electro pop genres, giving it a more luxurious feel than "Attention." Member Hani participated in writing lyrics and watching the MV produced with a total of 4 episodes, which will make listeners even more immersed in the lyrics of the song "Hyp Boy."
The third title track, 'Cookie' is a dance-pop song based on a minimalist hip-hop rhythm. "There's no meal, even if I'm hungry. No drink, even if I'm thirsty. Unique lyrics like 'I just want to eat dessert with a sweet taste'' Newjins said: "I made this album with a sincere heart of baking cookies. Like the seven previously announced MVs, New Jin has shown the teen's natural charm in music. Instead of training vocals to a specific style and standard, each member focuses on expressing their timbre and completing the color of the group.
At 6 pm (KST) today, Nu'est will simultaneously release the digital version of the debut album "New Jeans" and the MV for the title song "Cookie." The album produced with three versions is expected to be released on the 8th.
