[The Fact|Reporter Park Ji-yoon] Actress Lee Young-ae returns to the small screen after a year with 'Maestra.'
The new drama 'Maestra' (Scriptwriter Hong Jeong-hee, Director Kim Jeong-kwon) depicts the story of a female conductor with a personal approach to the truth around her by delving into the events of her life mysterious events in the orchestra. It is based on the French TV series Philharmonia.'
Among them, Lee Young-ae takes on the role of Cha Se-eum, a former violinist and female conductor conducting the orchestra. Cha Se-eum, who boldly and passionately runs like there's no tomorrow, is in a position everyone should envy, but her life is shaken by a secret that others don't know.
Lee Young-ae is expected to subtly portray her struggles and growth as a female conductor, going back and forth between mystery, people, and drama.
Meanwhile, Lee Young-ae has led the popularity of her works by showing steady acting skills through the dramas 'Dae Jang Geum', 'Light Diary of Saimdang' and the movie 'Find Me.' Also, in JTBC's 'Goo-Gyeong-I', which ended last December, he played a former detective Go-Goo-Gi, escaping his elegant image and comic acting challenge.
