TEMPTATION sold 2,188,889 copies in its first week

[ The Fact | Reporter Jung Byung Geun] The new album of the K-pop group TXT (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Huening Kai) has reached 4th place in terms of album sales in its first week of release.
According to the Hanteo chart, a domestic album sales statistics page, the group's mini-album vol.5 TOMORROW X TOGETHER titled TEMPTATION sold 2,188,889 copies from January 27 to February 2.
This marks the first time the group has reached 4th place in the first week of album release, making it the second highest record for a K-pop artist in history after BTS.
Previously, BTS set records with album sales of 3.37 million copies with "Map Of The Soul: 7", 2.75 million copies with "Prof", and 2.27 million copies with "Be". Other K-pop albums that have sold over 2 million copies include Stray Kids' debut album, "Map Of The Soul: Persona" by BTS, and "Face the Sun" by Seventeen.
TEMPTATION sold 1,868,919 copies on its first day of release, and after 6 days a total of 2,027,817 copies have been sold. After 3 years and 11 months since their debut, the group has achieved their first "Double Million Sales" record.
On the 29th at 8 am (KST), the title song "Sugar Rush Ride" reached No. 2 on Melon, Korea's largest music streaming platform, and No. 10 on the Daily chart. On Spotify, the world's largest music streaming company, the song reached the Daily Top Global chart at No. 38 and received 10 million views as of February 1, just 6 days after its release.
Additionally, the MV for "Sugar Rush Ride" posted on the official YouTube channel of Hybrid Labels has received 50 million views as of 6 pm (KST) on the first day.
