[The Fact|Reporter Park Ji-yoon] Kang Ha-neul and Jung So-min's '30 Days' is having an unparalleled performance at the box office.
According to the Korean Film Council's integrated movie ticketing network on the 16th, '30 Days' (directed by Nam Dae-jung) topped the box office, attracting 314,611 viewers from the 13th to the 15th. Cumulative viewers were 1,210,297.
'30 Days', released on the 3rd, is finally D-30, a comedy about Jeong-yeol (played by Kang Ha-neul) and Na-ra (played by Jung So-min), who couldn't stand each other's pettiness and stubbornness and ended up losing their memories right before they became complete strangers.
'Hwaran' (directed by Kim Chang-hoon), which attracted attention when officially invited to participate in Un Sure Regard at the 76th Cannes International Film Festival, ranked second with 87,712 viewers. The cumulative number of viewers is 166,828.
'Hwaran', released on the 11th, is a dark drama depicting the story of Yeon-gyu (played by Hong Sa-bin), a boy who wants to escape from a hellish reality, meets gets picked up by the middle-level boss of an organization, Chi-geon (played by Song Jong-ki) and ends up in a dangerous world.
‘Dr. Cheon's Secret Laboratory: The Secret of the Snowy Landscape’ (directed by Kim Seong-sik, hereinafter referred to as ‘Dr. Cheon’) ranked third, attracting 58,824 viewers. The cumulative number of viewers is 1,850,361.
'1947 Boston' (directed by Kang Je-gyu) ranked 4th with 39,865 viewers, and 'Beautiful Girlfriend' (directed by Seung-jun Lee) ranked 5th with 37,354 viewers.
