[The Fact | Reporter Kim Hae In] ‘Water Bomb Goddess’ Kwon Eun Bi won ‘Solo Performer of the Year’ at the 2023 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS (TMA).

On the afternoon of the 10th,  Kwon Eun Bi received the Solo Performer of the Year Award, given to a solo singer who has performed outstandingly throughout the year, at the '2023 The Fact Music Awards' hosted by The Fact and organized by FAN N STAR. '2023 TMA' was held at Incheon Namdong Gymnasium this afternoon.

Kwon Eun-bi said, "I am honored to have been invited to the 2023 The Fact Music Awards, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude for giving me the award of 'Solo Performer'." "I received a lot of love this year, and I hope to repay this love with good songs and performances,” she said.

She continued, "Dear Ruby, thank you for watching and being with me since my debut until now," and added, "I sincerely thank you for always giving me such meaningful gifts."

The 2023 TMA 'Solo Performer of the Year' winner was selected by combining 60% of this year's album and music scores (based on Circle Chart) and 40% of the judges' scores. Professional judges including The Fact Editor-in-Chief Park Soon-gyu, composers Park Geun-tae, composers Cho Young-soo, and former producer Ryan participated in the rigorous evaluation. The activity scores and criteria were based on the music and album performance from September 25th of last year to the 23rd of last month.

This June,  Kwon Eun Bi took the stage at Korea's largest music festival 'WATERBOMB' and presented a powerful and cool performance befitting a summer festival. Afterwards, she earned nicknames such as ‘Summer Queen’ and ‘Waterbomb Goddess’ and quickly emerged as the No.1 for summer festivals.

Her signature summer song, 'Underwater', has surged in popularity to suit the hot weather. Afterwards, she announced another leap forward by presenting a brilliant and captivating performance with her first single 'The Flash', released in August this year.

'2023 TMA', hosted by The Fact and organized by FAN N STAR, was co-hosted by Jeon Hyun-moo and Seohyun, and the red carpet began at 4:30 pm and the awards ceremony began at 6:30 pm.

In addition to Treasure, Ateez, Aespa, ITZY, Nmixx, Zero Base One, Boy Next Door, Xikers, Riize, Kwon Eun-bi, Jannabi, Ive, New Jeans, Seventeen, Stray Kids, Lim Young Woong, and Lee Chan Won attended the awards ceremony. 

The '2023 The Fact Music Awards' is a music awards ceremony and festival held together by K-POP artists and global fans. The best teams representing K-pop decorated a special and spectacular stage that can only be seen at the ‘2023 The Fact Music Awards’.

‘2023 TMA’ was broadcast live around the world on this day. It was broadcast through the Idol Plus app and web in Korea, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand, and in Japan, everything from the red carpet to the awards ceremony was broadcast live through Lemino. On TV, the awards ceremony is broadcast on the TV at the music channel MUSIC ON! TV (M On!).
