&TEAM will officially debut in South Korea on October 28. They have reached an important milestone by entering the Korean market after achieving "million-seller" status in Japan. &TEAM consists of nine members: Uiju, Huma, K, Nicholas, Yuma, Jo, Harua, Taki, and Maki. At the '&TEAM 3rd Anniversary [緣 DAY]' event held in Tokyo, Japan on the 3rd, they announced the release of their first Korean mini-album, 'Back to Life.'
Although &TEAM has previously made special appearances on domestic music shows performing Korean versions of their original Japanese songs, this marks their first official Korean album promotion. They expressed, "Thanks to the support and love from Lune (the fandom name), we have come this far. We hope that with our Korean debut, we can share &TEAM's charm with a wider world and reach even further. We want to take this journey together with Lune. We are working hard to show you a great side of us, so please continue to support us."
According to their agency YX Labels, &TEAM's Korean debut album 'Back to Life' captures the three-year journey of the nine members and their new leap forward. It includes &TEAM's unique musical colors and growth story, expanded based on HYBE's 'global DNA.'
With their third single 'Go in Blind,' released last April, &TEAM surpassed one million cumulative shipments. They received their first 'Million' certification from the Japan Record Association as of July, solidifying their presence in the Japanese music market. During their first Asia tour, held over two months starting in May, they attracted approximately 100,000 attendees, showcasing their status as a 'global group.'
Notably, their solo concert recently held at Seoul's Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium sold out all seats immediately upon ticket release, and even the additional limited-view seats were fully booked, proving their strong popularity in Korea. This Asia tour will conclude with encore performances at Saitama Super Arena in Japan on October 25 and 26. This venue is the largest among all the concerts &TEAM has held.
As HYBE's first overseas localized group, &TEAM debuted in Japan with full support from Chairman Bang Si-hyuk and has continuously pursued global challenges. Their Korean debut marks a new starting point that will lead their journey to greater heights. &TEAM plans to continue their activities in the global market and strengthen communication with their fans.
