
Stray Kids' Bang Chan celebrated his birthday by practicing warm sharing through donations. On October 3rd, Bang Chan's agency JYP Entertainment announced that he donated a total of 200 million KRW, with 100 million KRW each to Samsung Seoul Hospital and the UNICEF Korea Committee.
The donation will be used to support the treatment costs for pediatric and adolescent patients at Samsung Seoul Hospital. At UNICEF, the funds will be used for core projects that prioritize urgent support in areas such as health, nutrition, water and sanitation, education, protection, and emergency relief for children.
With this donation, Bang Chan was inducted into UNICEF's high-value donor group, the 'UNICEF Honors Club.' Bang Chan expressed, "Thanks to the precious love sent by fans on my birthday, I was able to share a warm heart. I sincerely hope this will be a small help for children to dream brighter dreams and a better tomorrow."
Last year, Bang Chan also donated 100 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea, earning him membership in the high-value donor group 'Honor Society.'
Meanwhile, Stray Kids, Bang Chan's group, will hold their world tour encore performances, 'Stray Kids World Tour dominATE : celebrATE,' at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on the 18th and 19th, meeting with fans.
