The song tied the record with BTS's hit "Dynamite" (113 weeks) and became the first and longest-running Asian group and solo artist song to remain on the chart for 114 consecutive weeks.
On the Global (excluding U.S.) chart dated October 4, "Seven" also ranked 84th. This is the first and longest 115-week consecutive charting achievement by an Asian solo artist. The song held the No. 1 position on the Billboard Global (excluding U.S.) chart for 9 consecutive weeks and topped the Global 200 chart for 7 consecutive weeks. It set the record as the first Asian artist song to simultaneously hold No. 1 for 7 consecutive weeks on both charts.
Jungkook became the first solo artist worldwide to have three or more songs simultaneously reach No. 1 on both the Global 200 and Global (excluding U.S.) charts within a year. These songs are "Seven," "3D," and "Standing Next to You." "Seven" debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's main singles chart, the Hot 100, and remained on the chart for 15 weeks.
On the UK Official main singles chart Top 100, "Seven" entered at No. 3 and charted for 14 weeks, marking the longest charting period for a K-pop solo artist song. The song also recorded 2.56 billion streams on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, becoming the first Asian artist song to reach this milestone.
On Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global chart, "Seven" continued its record as the first and longest-running Asian solo artist song, ranking for 116 consecutive weeks. Jungkook's achievements are regarded as another proof of K-pop's global influence.
