Koo Kyo-hwan and his 12-year partner Lee Ok-seop, 2MC 'Confession'..."Moments when we were disappointed in each other"

Actor Koo Kyo-hwan candidly reflected on his experience as an MC alongside his partner, director Lee Ok-seop.
Koo Kyo-hwan appeared on the 100th episode special of the web variety show "Salon Drip," released on the 28th of last month, where he mentioned the time he co-hosted with director Lee Ok-seop. He said, "I was so embarrassed back then. My attempt at being an MC was a failure," explaining the reason for the failure as, "Having two MCs was the problem. I wanted to showcase my skills, but I had to pay attention to the person next to me." He also added, "I have veteran energy, but I toned down my skills to maintain balance."
Regarding the situation after the recording, Koo Kyo-hwan shared, "After work, we got into the car together, but we didn't say a word and just sighed," adding, "It was so heartbreaking that it was hard to even review it." He continued, "I think that friend was disappointed too. There's ambition, but if that's the case, we should have done better. Of course, the same goes for me." He expressed his determination for a comeback by saying, "If there's a next opportunity, I want to be the sole MC."
In the broadcast, Koo Kyo-hwan also mentioned the filming process of the JTBC drama "Everyone Is Fighting Their Own Worthlessness." He is passionately playing the role of "Hwang Dong-man," who has been preparing to be a film director for 20 years. Regarding his acting chemistry with actress Go Yoon-jung, he described her as "an actor who delivers lines with her eyes," explaining, "After one scene ends, I felt like I had fully heard the other person's lines." He also said, "When I pour out my acting, she matches the rhythm accordingly."
