Kim Go-eun shared her thoughts on the conclusion of the TVING original series "Yumi's Cells Season 3." Kim Go-eun played the lead role of Yumi in Season 1 (2021), Season 2 (2022), and Season 3, which returned after four years, leading the series for five years.

Kim Go-eun said, "I believe that it was solely thanks to the interest and love of the viewers that we were able to complete Season 3." Reflecting on her experience of playing one character for a long time, she stated, "It is very meaningful to have led a seasonal series as one character." She also added, "'Yumi's Cells' is a work that opened my 30s and feels like it opened the second chapter of my acting career." She continued, "From Season 1 to Season 3, I have received so much love that I cannot fully express my gratitude in words. I am happy that Yumi has been loved by the viewers as much as I have loved playing her."

Finally, Kim Go-eun sent a message to Yumi, saying, "Yumi is someone who always overcomes whatever she faces, wherever she is and whatever she does, and grows through it. I hope she lives happily with her beloved Soonnok and takes care of her health now. Goodbye, Yumi. Thank you for everything."

The "Yumi's Cells" series is the first in Korea to combine live-action and 3D animation to depict Yumi's daily life, love, and growth. TVING's "Yumi's Cells Season 3" ranked first for three consecutive weeks in the number of weekly paid subscribers contributed, and episode 8, which aired on tvN on the 5th, ranked first in its time slot among cable and general programming channels. All previous episodes are available to watch on TVING.
