The band wave to earth released their new single ″heaven and hell″ at 1 PM on the 15th through various online music platforms.

The new song ″heaven and hell″ is wave to earth’s first release in about 1 year and 8 months since their September 2024 release ″play with earth! 0.03.″ It features an acoustic minimalism sound different from their usual lo-fi jazz style and conveys the message that the world cannot be seen in a dichotomous way.

The accompanying music video was filmed locally in Mexico and tells the hopeful dream and growth story of a boy. Zapateadores dancers, performing the traditional Mexican dance, appear to add scale to the video. The music video was directed by Maureen Hufnagel, who won the ″Argentina Director of the Year″ award at last year’s El Ojo de Iberoamérica International Festival, marking her first collaboration with a Korean artist.

wave to earth has completed over 60 performances on the ″play with earth! 0.03 World Tour″ across North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia, including more than 100 shows in total, such as major overseas festivals like Lollapalooza Chicago and New York’s Governors Ball. Their solo concert ″With Love 0.3″ in February sold out all tickets within one minute of opening and attracted over 10,000 attendees over three days.

Additionally, the EP ″play with earth! 0.03″ ranked 5th on the Spotify Global Debut Album Chart, with 7 million monthly listeners on Spotify and over 500 million cumulative streams of their representative song ″seasons.″
