Actor Yoo Seung-mok appeared on episode 344 of tvN variety show ″You Quiz on the Block″ and shared his feelings and behind-the-scenes stories about winning the Baeksang Arts Awards Best Supporting Actor in the broadcast category for the first time in his 36-year career.

Yoo Seung-mok won the Best Supporting Actor award in the drama category at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards for the JTBC drama ″The Story of Manager Kim Who Lives in Seoul and Works at a Large Corporation.″ He revealed that after attending the awards ceremony for the first time and receiving the award, he checked his phone to find over 300 congratulatory messages, which increased to 500 after finishing filming. Yoo shared the reaction from his family group chat when he was nominated, revealing that his wife and two daughters were moved to tears.

In his acceptance speech, Yoo Seung-mok said, ″I won’t be arrogant, so please keep calling me,″ which became a hot topic. He said he had prepared this remark in advance but worried it might come across differently on site. He added that the speech was sincere. On the day of the ceremony, he called his wife, who was still crying 15 minutes later, and shared an episode where his daughters gave practical advice, saying, ″Dad, please cross your legs.″

He also expressed gratitude toward fellow actor Ryu Seung-ryong. Yoo said that when he met Ryu at the awards after-party and asked, ″Did you cry?″ Ryu replied, ″Yes,″ which he appreciated.
