Gong Seung-yeon appears on 'You Quiz'... All mentions of '21st Century Great Lady' edited out

Actress Gong Seung-yeon gained attention for her role as Yoon Yi-rang in the recently concluded MBC drama ″21st Century Great Lady,″ but all mentions related to the work were edited out of her appearance on the tvN variety show ″You Quiz on the Block.″
On the episode of ″You Quiz on the Block″ aired on the 20th, Gong Seung-yeon, who appeared as a guest, shared her feelings about reaching the peak of her career 15 years after her debut, personal stories including her younger sibling TWICE Jung-yeon, and her seven years as an SM trainee. However, there was no mention of her recent appearance in ″21st Century Great Lady″ during the broadcast.
In the preview released before the broadcast, MC Yoo Jae-suk introduced Gong Seung-yeon by saying she had reached the peak of her career 15 years after debuting with ″21st Century Great Lady,″ and Gong Seung-yeon also mentioned the work, saying, ″IU, Byeon Woo-seok, I will also board the train.″ However, both the remarks and the title of the work were omitted from the main broadcast. The subtitles were also changed from the preview, instead reading, ″Into the story of Gong Seung-yeon, an actress recognized for her acting skills 15 years later.″
Gong Seung-yeon’s screen time was about 20 minutes, less than that of actor Yoo Seung-mok and singer Rain, who appeared in the same episode with about 30 minutes each.
″21st Century Great Lady″ recorded high ratings and generated significant buzz until its conclusion on the 16th, but controversy arose over historical distortion when, in the 11th episode’s coronation scene, Prince Ian (played by Byeon Woo-seok) wore a gu-ryu-myeon crown, which is worn by vassal state rulers, instead of the ten-faced crown worn by the emperor of the Jaju Kingdom, and the officials shouted ″cheon-se″ (a thousand years) instead of ″manse″ (ten thousand years). In response, lead actors IU, Byeon Woo-seok, director Park Jun-hwa, and writer Yoo Ji-won issued an apology, and some scenes’ audio and subtitles were edited on OTT platforms.
