The five members of the group ZEROBASEONE recently revealed their own ’top charms’ during a round interview held at a cafe in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

On this day, the members were asked to pick their own charms in line with the theme of the title track ″TOP5″ from the album Ascend-, which is about the ’top 5 charms felt toward others.’ Kim Jiwoong said, ″As a member of ZEROBASEONE, I have a strong desire to keep moving forward,″ referring to ’earnestness.’ Kim Taerae answered, ″I think the one thing that is top is my effort to surpass myself and break limits.″ Seok Matthew said, ″I tend to catch the rhythm well,″ adding, ″My charm is also that I am not hesitant to try new things.″ Sung Hanbin said, ″I like analyzing and observing the members’ tendencies,″ referring to ’attentiveness.’ Park Gunwook chose ’competitiveness,’ saying, ″I wanted to be evaluated based on my own abilities, so I deliberately did not take the easy path of collaborating with in-house composers.″ Park Gunwook emphasized, ″My competitiveness toward myself is stronger than toward others.″

ZEROBASEONE is a group formed through Mnet’s idol survival program Boys Planet 2 and recently began their second chapter of activities with their sixth mini-album Ascend-. This album is their first work since the reorganization from nine members to five. The five members—Sung Hanbin, Kim Jiwoong, Seok Matthew, Kim Taerae, and Park Gunwook—have renewed their contracts with WakeOne and continue team activities. The other four members—Jang Hao, Ricky, Kim Kyubin, and Han Yujin—returned to their original agency YH Entertainment after the project activities ended and formed a new group called AND2BLE.
