Kim Dong-hyun revealed the behind-the-scenes story of having his fourth son.

In the 17th episode of SBS’s ″No, But Really,″ which aired on the 25th, Kim Dong-hyun appeared and shared the news of his wife’s recent pregnancy with their fourth child, receiving congratulations from the cast. When asked if the fourth pregnancy was planned, Kim Dong-hyun replied, ″It was planned. Originally, we decided to have only three children, but somehow we ended up having a fourth.″

He also revealed how he found out about the fourth pregnancy just before his vasectomy. Kim Dong-hyun said, ″I had a fight with my wife that day. I briefly thought having four kids might be good, but then I thought three would be enough, so I argued with my wife. Then I said I would just go to the hospital and had the vasectomy. After coming back from the hospital, my wife came into the room early in the morning and asked, ’Will you treat me well?’ and showed me a pregnancy test with two lines.″

On that day, Kim Dong-hyun said the fourth child is a boy and that the pregnancy is currently about 20 weeks along. He explained that the first child is a son, the second and third are daughters, and the fourth is a son.

Kim Dong-hyun said, ″At first, not only my mother-in-law but also my mother expressed concerns, wondering why we were going through this hardship again.″ He added that his wife likes shamanism, and according to their fortune, they were supposed to have one more son, and they were hopeful because a general on a white horse was coming.

Kim Eung-soo said, ″I envy having many children the most. I only had two, but that was the trend back then. If you had more than two, people around you would look at you differently. If I could go back, I would want to have ten children.″
