Shin Bong-sun expressed her frustration over being told she resembles IU.

On the 25th episode of Channel A’s ’Detectives’ Trade Secrets,’ Shin Bong-sun appeared as a guest alongside Defconn, Yoon In-na, and Kim Poong. When Shin Bong-sun appeared in the ’Case Notebook’ segment, Defconn introduced her by saying, ″She was like IU in her 20s, and even now, she is the IU of the comedy world.″ In response, Shin Bong-sun pointed to Yoon In-na and said, ″(IU’s) close friend is right next to me,″ feeling embarrassed, and Kim Poong added, ″There is a IU type.″

Shin Bong-sun expressed her frustration, saying, ″Some people tell me to stop saying I look like IU. But I hardly ever said that myself.″ She continued, ″Even back then, IU said, ’Our fans say I look like you, sister.’″ Yoon In-na mentioned, ″There is that face shape. Heart-shaped, apple-shaped.″ When Shin Bong-sun asked, ″Do you think we look alike as a close friend?″ Yoon In-na admired, ″The skin’s elasticity is exactly the same. At this age, skin can’t be like that.″ Shin Bong-sun said, ″Some of it is innate. I go to the dermatologist about twice a year,″ and added, ″Lately, many people say I’m pretty, so if I’m not feeling well that day, I wrap myself up tightly and don’t go out.″

Regarding exercise, she said, ″I play tennis occasionally. I swam for four years as morning fasted cardio. To keep that routine, I’ve been waking up at 6 a.m. for four years.″ When asked if she has a boyfriend, she replied, ″My plan was to get married at 37. Nothing in this world goes as planned.″ When Defconn mentioned rumors about dating Yoo Min-sang, Shin Bong-sun denied the rumors, saying, ″People talk about it like it’s someone else’s business. They never ask for my opinion, and whenever an article comes out about someone, they say it’s fine,″ emphasizing, ″We are just good friends.″

Meanwhile, in the ’Case Notebook’ segment, a story was introduced about a wife troubled by her husband’s reluctance toward their marital relationship. Regarding the wife who kissed her husband right away on their first blind date before marriage, Defconn said, ″It’s one thing when you’re young, but at our age, it’s a bit scary.″ Shin Bong-sun added, ″It’s cute even into your 30s, but if you do that at our age, people misunderstand and think, ’She really wants to get married.’ Dating in your 40s is harder and requires more caution.″

Shin Bong-sun also shared a past blind date experience, saying, ″If you go on a blind date in winter, there are clothes you shouldn’t wear. I wore an angora knit, and (the fur kept going into my mouth), so I was busy spitting it out,″ sharing her blind date failure story.
