Cortis dominates Melon, Bugs, and Spotify weekly charts... 'REDRED' is the first boy group to reach number one this year

CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Seonghyeon, Geonho) became the first boy group to top the Melon weekly chart this year with the title track ″REDRED″ from their second mini album comeback.
″REDRED″ ranked first on the Melon weekly chart (aggregation period: May 18–24). This song is the first boy group track released this year to reach the top, achieving this on a chart that uses not only streaming counts but also the number of actual listeners as key metrics. On the Melon daily chart, it maintained the number one position for eight consecutive days from the 19th to the 26th.
After entering the weekly chart at 64th place, the song rose to 9th place in the first week of May and 3rd place in the second week, showing an upward trend. Among boy groups that debuted within the last five years, CORTIS is the only team to have topped both the Melon daily and weekly charts. On the Bugs weekly chart, they held the number one spot for two consecutive weeks, and on Korea Spotify’s ″Weekly Top Songs,″ they were number one for four consecutive weeks. On the Apple Music ″Today’s Top 100 Korea″ chart, they maintained the number one position for 31 consecutive days until the 26th.
On the global audio and music streaming platform Spotify, CORTIS is the first boy group that debuted within the last five years to enter major charts. They have charted for 34 days on the daily chart (peaking at 36th on May 4) and for four weeks on the weekly chart (peaking at 61st from May 1 to 7). As of the 25th, their monthly listeners on Spotify surpassed 12.11 million.
On the US Billboard charts, they appeared at 17th on the ″Bubbling Under Hot 100″ (May 16), and their second mini album ″GREENGREEN″ entered the ″Billboard 200″ at 3rd place (May 23). This is the fastest top 3 entry record for a K-pop group since debut, excluding project groups.
In addition to the title track, other songs such as ″TNT″ and ″ACAI″ are gaining popularity, and ″YOUNGCREATORCREW″ has become an internet buzzword abbreviated as ″Youngcrekrek.″ This term represents the team’s identity as ″Young Creator Crew.″
CORTIS will attend the Weverse Con Festival held on June 7 at KSPO DOME and 88 Lawn Square in Olympic Park, Seoul. They will then perform at the Allo Bank Festival in Jakarta, Indonesia, on June 20, and at Lollapalooza Chicago in the United States on August 1. On July 31, the day before the main Lollapalooza Chicago event, they will also participate in the aftershow at the House of Blues Chicago.
