Kim Shin-young showed her emotions recalling the advice of the late Jeon Yoo-sung during her struggle with panic disorder in the preview of tvN’s ″You Quiz on the Block.″

In the preview video, Yoo Jae-suk mentioned that Kim Shin-young lost 44kg but returned to her original weight within six weeks. In response, Kim Shin-young said she quickly gained weight again because she ate a lot of chocolate cake, ramen, jajangmyeon, and ice cream. She then recalled her dieting days, admitting that although she thought she was fine when she was thin, she was actually very sensitive and lived with dissatisfaction toward the world. She also stood up and bowed at a 90-degree angle, saying, ″I am very sorry,″ which brought laughter to the scene.

Kim Shin-young became emotional mentioning Jeon Yoo-sung, who passed away last year. She shared that when she was suffering from panic disorder, Professor Jeon Yoo-sung advised her, ″Please hold hands with people and walk together.″

Previously, Kim Shin-young revealed an anecdote about Jeon Yoo-sung on her YouTube channel ″Shin Woman.″ She recalled the time when she was taking care of Jeon Yoo-sung, who was wearing an oxygen mask and said, ″I want to eat jjambbong, but I can’t. You should not hold back and eat well.″

Kim Shin-young gained attention as a ″diet icon″ after losing 44kg from 88kg and maintaining her weight for about 13 years. Recently, she has stopped dieting and is active in a healthy state, joining JTBC’s ″Knowing Bros″ as the first female fixed member and sharing her daily life on MBC’s ″I Live Alone.″
