Sonja stated that she has never visited or been investigated by police or other investigative agencies for official duties or personal accusations. She also firmly denied ever bullying others, unfairly pressuring anyone to resign, or forcing anyone out while working at a publishing company. She urged those spreading false information to stop hiding behind anonymity and irresponsible false incitement and to contact her directly for a conversation. Sonja warned that if reckless speculation and malicious slander continue, she will respond firmly by holding those responsible for the false information legally accountable.

Recently, posts claiming that Sonja engaged in workplace bullying at her current publishing company have spread online. In response, Sonja issued a statement completely denying the related allegations.
