'Peninsula' surpasses 3 million in 10 days, new zombie choreography revealed... Yeon Sang-ho "Updated identity of the infected"

A comparison video of the zombie choreography practice process and on-site footage from the movie ″The Swarm″ was released on the YouTube channel ″Showbox″ on the 2nd. This video features performances of the infected completed with the movements of actual dancers, not CGI.
Director Yeon Sang-ho said, ″I thought about creating a story with a special setting and new zombies,″ emphasizing the grotesque movements and evolution process of the infected. He stated, ″Through updates, it was important to create their bodies in various forms that change more and more as you go backward.″
Choreographer Jeon Young mentioned, ″Working with a team of contemporary dancers is the strength of ’The Swarm,’″ explaining that the dancers expressed the uniqueness of the infected by freely bending their limb joints and intertwining with each other. He also said, ″The movements where they throw each other to send one another further away and create obstacles to hinder the characters were very chilling and fresh.″
″The Swarm″ is a story about survivors trapped inside a locked building fighting against infected who evolve in unpredictable forms. After its release on the 21st of last month, it surpassed 3 million cumulative viewers within 10 days. The cast includes Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Chang-wook, Shin Hyun-bin, Kim Shin-rok, and Ko Soo.
